Gary had a quintuple coronary bi-pass today at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento.
As of 7pm he has awoken out of his anesthesia and is responding appropriately to questions and requests from medical staff.
When Hanneke asked him how he felt he said “Like I’ve been hit by a Mac Truck”. So his sense of humour is intact.
Thanks to all for your positive thoughts and wishes. Now it’s time to start working on a speedy recovery.
